Many complex variables go into the choice of a man bag, but etiquette expert Shital Kakkar Mehra believes the single most important factor is your profession. "A lawyer, a doctor, an engineer or an investment banker will always carry a briefcase," says the author of 'Business Etiquette: A Guide for the Indian Professional'. "They're carrying documents relating to people's lives, their savings, and these have to be seen to be treated with respect. Tech CEOs may carry messenger bags or even a rucksack to work. It's a very California thing."
But what about Anshu Jain? "Mr Jain may have carried a haversack to his own offices, but I'm not sure he would carry it to a business meet," Mehra said. Read more @
